Getting Around

Most visitors hire a car when staying in Haría, but do you actually need a car? The simple answer to this is no but as with everything in life it depends upon what you are prepared to do to get what you want. For example, there is a regular bus service from Haría that will take you (en route to further destinations) to the coastal village of Arrieta, which has a well-stocked supermarket, cafes, restaurants and the superb La Garita beach. Taxis are also available and reasonably priced.
